Much needed vacation

The risks of being a DoD contractor include having the company you represent lose the contract you’ve worked for a few years. The plus side is that it’s an opportunity to expand my knowledge of other programs.

Networking is important, I found out that one of my old Navy Shipmates works for the company that won the contract. After talking with him, he’s got my resume and endorsements into the right hands (continuity and corporate knowledge of the program goes a long way too).

I know God’s got this under control as everything else. Just keep us in prayer that we seek His wisdom while we negotiate the job search scene.

Glad to have started the much needed family vacation before I got the news. Definitely not letting it upset our time!
